Device Status Management

View Status

• Current status

• Signal strength

Disable Device

Disable device access:

Effects:

• Cannot send data
• Owner notified
• Previous data retained
• Can be re-enabled

Enable Device

Re-enable disabled device:

Effects:

• Can resume sending data
• Owner notified

Device Logs

View device activity:

Shows:

• Connections
• Data submissions
• Errors
• Status changes
• Firmware updates

Firmware Management

Update Firmware

Deploy firmware updates:

• Select firmware file
• Version number
• Release notes
• Target devices (all or selected)

Update History

View all firmware updates:

Shows:

• Version
• Release date
• Devices updated
• Status

Device Troubleshooting

Offline Devices

If device offline > 24 hours:

1. Check device logs
2. Verify network connectivity
3. Check battery level
4. Review recent errors
5. Notify owner if needed

Connection Issues

• Check signal strength
• Review error logs
• Suggest actions to user
• Force resync if needed

Battery Issues

Monitor battery levels:

• Auto-notify users < 20%
• Suggest charging
• Track battery health
